Ghassan Zaqtan

M. Lynx Qualey notes here that Palestinian poet Ghassan Zaqtan was supposed to be touring in the US this month, but a week into his planned dates still has no visa. Unsurprising, but depressing. Of little consolation but nevertheless beautiful (and accessible to more of us) is this video of Zaqtan delivering his work, filmed by his son for an event in San Francisco:
