Distractions and Destructions

Here, courtesy of Visualizing Palestine, is a graphic which is:
a) a terrifying illustration of the way in which the Israeli government has successfully used the idea of ‘peace talks’ as a way of deflecting criticism from its colonial enterprise and distracting the international community/press (not that that’s a tricky thing to do) from the real issues, and
b) a brilliant example of the use of imagery to get a political message across clearly and simply:
