Publishing job at Pluto

One of my (for obvious reasons) favourite publishers is advertising a job! A rare opportunity to get into left-wing/independent publishing in London (if you’re foolish enough to want to live there). The blurb says:

Pluto are happy to announce we have a vacancy for the position of Editorial Assistant / Office Manager. Pluto is a thriving radical and academic publisher, producing 60 new books a year. We are looking for an ambitious and highly organised individual for the role of Publishing Assistant / Office Manager.
Administrative experience, ideally in a publishing capacity, is important, as is the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a busy environment. An interest in politics and a keen eye for detail are desirable.
This is a full-time position in a very friendly informal office. Benefits include 20 days’ holiday (excluding public holidays). The full job description is available for download by clicking here.
Please apply by CV and covering letter to Anne Beech, Managing Director beech@plutobooks.com or by post to: Pluto Press, 345 Archway Road, London N6 5AA.
Closing date: Wednesday 5th December.
